When a child walks into our program, the first thing they do is run over to the bikes that we have displayed. They are so excited to experience an adventure and escape the noise of their daily lives. Here at Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.), our job is to facilitate that experience with the right guidance and direction. We teach safety techniques before we start on our cycling journey. When you're riding uphill, the first thing to do to ensure a safe fun ride is to assess the hill, find the right gear, and keep pedaling. This year especially, has felt like one big uphill. What we have managed to do is assess our reality and find new ways to continue our mission and serve our youth through such challenging times.

At Y.O.U., we shifted gears because creating experiences for the kids in our community is our number one priority. With your support, we are able to continue our work.
